Windsurfers have a busy schedule that usually has them travelling all over the world. According to windsurfers.de, those who want to study at the same time quickly realise "how little support and understanding they receive from the university." This is understandable when you spend half the year at events in the windiest and warmest places in the world.

It is precisely this gap that the University of Oldenburg is closing with the Bachelor's degree programme "Business Administration for Competitive Athletes (B.A.)"
