The current "Studium generale" course catalogue of the University of Oldenburg is hot off the press. It is aimed at anyone interested in attending courses as a guest student in the 2019/20 winter semester. Proof of a specific school-leaving qualification is not required. Guest students can put together their own personal study or further education programme from over 600 courses: From history, education or German studies to music and art to natural sciences or language courses. Registration is possible online from 1 September.

Every semester, around 500 guest students take the opportunity to gain an insight into various academic and research fields at the university. The event directory will be available from 1 September for 4.00 euros in bookshops in Oldenburg city centre and from the C3L - Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University (Ammerländer Heerstraße 136, 26129 Oldenburg).
