Walking long distances is like slowing down, simplifying, cleansing and emptying your life. It allows us to open up to what surrounds us, promotes well-being and spiritual creativity. The lecture will provide insights into the mass phenomenon of pilgrimage, shed light on psychophysical aspects of its effects and give an overview of possible design elements for multi-day pilgrimage projects or walking retreats. This C3L event is part of the public event series Impulses for Further Thinking in Therapy and Counselling. Thursday, 18 August 2016, 19:30 in the BIS hall Further information: http://www.uni-oldenburg.de/c3l/impulse/
