When the German national football team plays for the World Cup in Russia this summer, many fans will once again be collecting football pictures! But how many bags of collectible pictures does it actually take to complete an album? And how much does it cost? To find answers to these questions, Prof. Dr Peter Ruckdeschel from the Institute of Mathematics will turn the Audimax into a statistics laboratory on Wednesday, 7 March: together with the eight to twelve-year-old KinderUni students, he will explore the phenomenon of the scrapbook mathematically and with an exciting experiment.
