Around 16.4 million people with a migrant background now live in Germany.
The number of asylum applications was higher than ever before at 476,649 in 2015. Studies show that mental illnesses and disorders occur significantly more frequently in this population group than in the German population. Therapists sometimes need more time in treatment and knowledge about contexts, rituals and traditions in the patient's culture. The workshop deals with how to deal with this particular situation. The workshop with Dr Özkan will take place on:
Saturday, 16 April 2016
09:30-17:00
