Dr Astrid Beermann completed her doctorate on change processes in personal and professional development - impact factors and modes of action in professionalisation processes. She is an industrial clerk and Diplom sociologist, worked in the private sector, studied sociology, psychology, educational and media sciences at the Philipps University of Marburg and has been employed at the University of Oldenburg since 2006.
