Depth psychology-based psychotherapy
Depth psychology-based psychotherapy is based on the fundamental assumption that every person has a dynamic unconscious. Unresolved intrapsychic and interpersonal conflicts are a cause of disorders and symptoms (psychodynamics).
In the psychotherapeutic process, the focus is on currently effective neurotic conflicts that are dealt with in the therapeutic relationship. Depth psychology-based psychotherapy is conflict-centred, resource-oriented and focused. It is characterised by uncovering and changing work on the central unconscious and preconscious conflicts and relationship patterns.
In addition to depth psychology-based psychotherapy, behavioural therapy, psychoanalysis and systemic therapy are among the scientifically recognised psychotherapeutic treatment methods.
