Negotiating – confidently and successfully

Communicative expertise for sustainable solutions

As a manager, you must constantly negotiate within and outside your organisation and reach viable agreements. This skills training programme teaches you how to conduct results-oriented discussions and strike the right tone even in conflict-laden situations. You will learn to understand complex messages and respond appropriately. The skills training is orientated towards win-win strategies based on clarity in the matter and appreciation of the person. The aim is not to produce winners and losers, but to find joint solutions to factual and relationship issues.

The competence training lasts
6 weeks in total and is structured as follows:

When the skills training programme begins, the learning materials will be made available via our learning platform, C3LLO, where they can be viewed at any time. The content of the learning materials forms the (knowledge) basis for the workshop, which takes place at the University of Oldenburg on the C3L campus. Following the workshop, a transfer task must be completed. The online phases before and after the workshop (input and transfer) are designed to be asynchronous, i.e. participants can organise their time freely within the given framework. For reading the learning materials, participating in the workshop and successfully completing the transfer task, you should estimate a total workload of around 60 hours, most of which can be flexibly distributed over the six-week period.
