New Work – shaping the future of work

Promoting innovation, independence and participation

Digital transformation, changing working models and new employee expectations - these far-reaching changes in the world of work are reflected in the concept of "New Work". The skills training programme looks at the origins, meaning and benefits of the concept, in which freedom, independence and participation play a central role. The question of how modern company and process structures can promote self-realisation, how they encourage innovation, collaborative project work and mixed teams and how tools and digital systems make "New Work" possible is explored. The skills training offers theoretical and practical knowledge that participants can transfer directly to their academic appointments.

You should allow around 60 hours for reading, workshops and the transfer task. In the online phases before and after the workshop (input and transfer), participants can distribute the work flexibly over the duration of the course.
