Legal expertise for the electronic state

Interaction between public administration and citizens is increasingly taking place electronically. In order to be able to deal confidently with legal issues of eGovernment, the module deals with its political and economic framework conditions as well as constitutional principles. In addition, electronic administrative procedures and standards for the use of IT in public administration are discussed.

In the area of European and German public procurement law, legal foundations and principles as well as the latest developments are discussed. Participants will receive a checklist for legally compliant IT procurement in the public sector. Special problems such as used software, in-house contracts, the sale of property development projects with public sector requirements and legal protection issues will also be covered.
