In the summer of 2026, 143 young skilled workers from the Oldenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) completed their apprenticeships with a grade of ‘very good’. The IHK honoured them on Friday, 21 August, at the Kleine EWE-Arena in Oldenburg. Among them were Ann-Kathrin Mindermann and Louisa Marie Weyel.
Ann-Kathrin Mindermann and Louisa Marie Weyel completed their apprenticeships at the Institute of Chemistry under the supervision of training manager Willi Rathje. The Institute of Chemistry warmly congratulates the two chemical laboratory technicians on this outstanding achievement, which underlines the high quality of training at the university.
Of particular delight to the Institute is the fact that Ann-Kathrin Mindermann will remain with the Institute of Chemistry even after graduating. She will take on the role of technical assistant in Prof. Dr Johanna Heine’s research group and will actively support the work of the group and the Institute.
