Presentation of the DiZ Research Academy

Presentation of the DiZ Research Training Group ‘Teacher Education 2040’

Music

A moderated interview on the relevance of research-based teacher training and the promotion of early-career researchers in the field of education, on the one hand, and the creation of appropriate support structures, on the other. This is also designed to bridge the gap between different ‘generations’ of researchers; to this end, we were able to secure the participation of two renowned experts, Prof. Dr Birgit Brouër from Kiel University (Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel), centre for teacher education, and Prof. Dr Andrea Becher from the University of Paderborn. Prof. Dr Becher herself completed her PhD as part of the Oldenburg programme for promoting early-career researchers in the field of teacher education. Moderated by Dr Julia Michaelis, DiZ Executive Director, they will discuss the future relevance of research in the field of teacher education.

Music

From around 4.45 pm: Social gathering with musical accompaniment

A poster presentation by PhD students from the Research Training Group “Teacher Education 2040 – Dimensions of Teacher Professionalisation from an Interdisciplinary Perspective – Challenges, Models, Methods” and the DiZ research clusters will round off the programme (in the foyer).

Registration

OLE+ is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the joint "Quality Campaign for Teacher Education" of the federal and state governments.
