This two-day face-to-face workshop is being offered as a satellite event to the FDM@Campus conference (https://www.eresearch.uni-goettingen.de/de/fdmcampus-event-information/). In addition to adhering to the learning objectives of the current Train-the-Trainer concept (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10122153), we have structured the workshop around the following key question: “How can FDM outreach and support services be implemented on site with limited resources?” To this end, we focus on how to reach different target groups, design outreach programmes and recruit additional advocates at one’s own institution. Our aim is to convey positive prospects and practical concepts despite these constraints.

The workshop is aimed in particular at FDM multipliers and trainers working at smaller universities, universities of applied sciences or smaller research institutions. A basic knowledge of FDM is required to take part in the train-the-trainer workshop. Applications from individuals working at institutions within Lower Saxony will be given priority during the selection process for participants.

There is no participation fee for the workshop; no catering will be provided. Meals are to be arranged at participants’ own expense and responsibility (e.g. via the canteen, cafeteria or local options).

Applications can be submitted to us via the ‘Registration’ subpage by 31 July 2026; we will review the applications received and provide feedback regarding participation (or placement on the waiting list) shortly after 31 July.

Please feel free to direct any enquiries to this email address:

We look forward to the joint workshop in Göttingen!

Kind regards
