Curriculum vitae

Dr Frauke Lange completed her doctorate as a CSI scholarship holder at the Professorship for Organisational Development and Analysis at the University of Duisburg-Essen on start-up processes in civic engagement and social entrepreneurship.
She holds a Diplom degree in educational science with a focus on organisational development and adult education and has been working as a research assistant in the field of female entrepreneurship since January 2015. She has been working as a research assistant in the Female Entrepreneurship department at the University of Oldenburg since January 2015.

Prior to this, Ms Lange worked for six years as a scientific project manager at the Laboratory for Organisational Development at the University of Duisburg-Essen (orglab). In various (transdisciplinary, qualitative) research projects, she focussed in particular on social innovation processes, voluntary engagement and social entrepreneurship. Among other things, she has developed concrete instruments to promote social innovation (METALOGe) and (together with Unperfekthaus Essen and RWE AG) the corporate volunteering format "Kopfverleih", in which employees from different disciplines and hierarchies work together as consultants for local social entrepreneurs.

Before joining the University of Duisburg-Essen, Ms Lange worked for three years as a consultant for an international engineering group. She was responsible for a project on the preservation of experience in the company (knowledge management) and accompanied all succession processes between older/leaving and subsequent engineers.

From 2007 to 2009, Ms Lange was coordinator of the cross-university mentoring programme of the three Ruhr area universities (mentoring³) for engineering subjects. Here she was responsible for the design and evaluation of the programme and accompanied the individual matching and mentoring processes.

Ms Lange has been one of three managing partners of L³ Beratungsgesellschaft since 01/2008 and worked as a freelance trainer in youth and adult education for 7 years before the spin-off.

Mrs Lange is now involved in voluntary work as chairwoman of the board of one of the largest sports clubs in the Wesermarsch region. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, good music, dance fitness and in the countryside near the water.
