Medieval Studies in the basic modules ger010 and ger020
In the basic module ger010 'Language and Culture', medieval studies is present in the lecture with two language-historically orientated courses. There is a medieval studies section in the final exam.
In the basic module ger020 'Literature and Culture', you will receive an initial introduction to important topics in literary and cultural medieval studies in the lecture. In the final exam, around a third of the points are allocated to questions from medieval studies.
If possible, we also offer a seminar on medieval studies for the basic module ger020 in the summer semester. You do not have to learn Middle High German for this, we work with translations instead.
