In the Bachelor's programme, 60 CP must be taken from the German Studies course offerings as follows:
a) The 3 basic modules
- ger010
- ger020
- ger033.
b) 5 advanced modules:
The following must be completed here:
1. The didactic AM ger246
2. An AM in literary studies: ger211 or ger221.
3. One linguistics AM: ger251 or ger261 or ger291
4. 1 AM from the AMs not yet taken
5. 1 further AM from the AMs not previously taken
Example:
If the following was selected under 1-3
1. ger246
2. ger211
3. ger251
then under 4. and 5. may be taken:
ger 221 or ger 231 (Attention, runs over 2 semesters!) or ger 261 or ger 271 or ger 281 or ger 291.

In the M.Ed. programme, 9 CP must be taken from the courses offered in German Studies as follows:

From winter semester 22/23, the following applies according to the new examination regulations for the M.Ed. HR:
12 CPs from the German Studies programme must be taken in the M.Ed. as follows:
- ger771 (6 CP)
- ger805 (6 CP)
