In the Bachelor's programme, 30 CP must be taken from the German Studies course offerings as follows:
a) The 3 basic modules
- ger010
- ger020
- ger033.
In the M.Ed. programme, 45 CP must be taken from the range of German Studies courses as follows:

b) 4 advanced modules:
The following must be completed here:
1. The didactic AM: ger246
2. An AM in literary studies: ger211 or ger221.
3. One linguistics AM: ger251 or ger261 or ger291
4. 1 AM from the AMs not previously taken
Example of advanced module selection:
If the following was selected under 1-3
1. ger246
2. ger211
3. ger251
then under 4. you may choose
ger 221 or ger261 or ger 271 or ger 281 or ger 291.
c) 2 Master's modules
5. the didactic MM: ger771 (prerequisite: ger246 must have been successfully completed).
Please note: As ger771 is only offered in the winter semester and the curricular sequence must be adhered to, you should complete ger242 in the second Master's semester at the latest.
6. 1 MM, either ger880 or ger890 (observe the requirements according to the examination regulations)
