Tasks
The hardware laboratory is a central facility of the Department of Computing Science and is organisationally affiliated to the Chair of Foundations and Applications of Systems of Cyber-Physical Systems (Prof. Dr. Fränzle). It forms the basis for the practical course in technical Computing Science and the course in hardware-related system development. It also provides development tools that enable the entire development process from the idea to the finished system and supports students in their project groups, Bachelor's and Master's theses.
Fields of activity (among others):
- Microprocessor technology
- Programmable logic (CPLD/FPGA)
- Hardware-related programming
- Analogue circuit technology
- Layout development
