Innovative projects on Economics Education relate primarily to two fields:

• Internet-supported further education and training of teachers in Economics Education
• creating and trialling attractive materials and media for good economics teaching.

Corresponding pilot projects and public-private partnership projects are being realised at regional, national and international level.

Dolceta - is an online consumer education programme that has been developed in 27 EU countries and is available in 21 different languages. It is funded by the European Commission and implemented by national teams from all EU member states. There are separate modules for teachers in which lesson preparations, technical information and didactic/methodological aids (worksheets, case studies, etc.) are offered. All materials are available free of charge at www.dolceta.eu.
