At the University of Oldenburg you have the opportunity to register online for your examinations as part of your degree programme. Exam registration takes place via the Stud.IP learning management system. When registering, you must enter an individual TAN number (transaction number) in combination with your personal ID.

You will receive your first TAN list by post at the start of your degree programme. It contains 50 TAN numbers. If the list cannot be delivered by post, you can collect it in person from the user administration.

Please note the following information:

• Each TAN number can only be used once. Cross out any TAN numbers on your list that have already been used.
• You can generate a new list of TAN numbers online in the Stud.IP learning management system via the menu item "TAN generation" by entering one of the TAN numbers on the previous list.
• As soon as a new TAN sheet has been generated, any remaining TAN numbers on the old list will be invalid.
