In the following, we would like to inform you about how your personal data will be processed when you register for an event. Please read the following information carefully.

II Data collected
We collect title, name, email address and, if applicable, institutional affiliation, address and telephone numbers electronically. The personal data is not linked to social media applications. No further analyses of the data take place. The data is currently stored and processed using the "Microsoft Office" software package and in a Typo3 tool on a secure network drive at the university.
III Purposes and legal basis of data processing
The purpose of data collection is the organisation of the event offered and, if necessary, the sending of access links, the creation and sending of confirmations of participation and the settlement of the event with funding bodies or co-financing cooperation partners. Your data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR (contract/pre-contract).
IV. Recipients of the personal data
If necessary, the data collected will be transmitted to the respective funding body or co-financing cooperation partner for billing purposes. Beyond this, your personal data will not be passed on to unauthorised third parties.
V. Transfer of personal data to a third country
VI Duration of storage or retention of personal data
The data will be stored electronically in list form for a maximum of 6 months after the event and then irretrievably deleted. Lists of participants in paper form are stored for the purposes of event documentation and settlement in accordance with the retention periods stipulated by law, for business correspondence after six years and for invoices after ten years.

As a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR, you have the following rights
