Starting with BUGS in recent years a number of Probabilistic Programming Languages have been advocated. The state-of-art overview can be found here. One of a newer alternative is TURING.jl which is embedded in JULIA a modern alternative to Python. We study with a set of 'Rosetta' examples, whether TURING.j is a competitor to the JS-based WebPPL.
