DGVFM workshop for young mathematicians

Once a year, the DGVFM organises a three-day workshop on current topics in the field of insurance and financial mathematics. The target group are students and doctoral candidates of mathematics-oriented degree programmes.

The aim of the workshop is to present the field of insurance and financial mathematics as an interesting and challenging area of applied mathematics and thus to inspire talented maths students and recent maths graduates to ask questions in these areas. If interested, the workshop is of course also open to other disciplines.

The workshop provides an overview of current topics in insurance and financial mathematics and risk management and offers different perspectives from research and professional practice. In particular, the three-day event offers the opportunity for both personal and professional exchange.
