Welcome to the university!

A total of twelve young people are starting their training at the university this week. They first familiarised themselves with the campus during the induction days.

A total of twelve young people are starting their training at the university this week. During the induction days, they familiarised themselves with the campus, among other things.

"The university is one of the largest employers in the region and also assumes responsibility as a training institution. In our workshops, laboratories and offices, young professionals find the best conditions. We provide them with dedicated and sound support on their way to becoming specialists," explained Jörg Stahlmann, Vice President for Administration and Finance, at the welcome ceremony.

In August, a chemical laboratory technician, two IT specialists, a precision mechanic, a gardener specialising in horticulture and landscaping, two gardeners (specialising in perennial horticulture) and an electronics technician for devices and systems began their training. Two more apprentices specialising in research and clinical animal care will follow in September.
