In future, a high-calibre Board of Trustees will advise the Presidential Board of the University of Oldenburg on forward-looking issues relating to the development of the European Medical School. "I am very pleased that we have succeeded in attracting high-ranking experts from university medicine who will provide valuable advice, foresight and quality orientation for the development of the European Medical School until the review by the German Council of Science and Humanities in 2019," said University President Prof Dr Babette Simon at the constituent meeting of the Board of Trustees.

"As a former member of the founding committee, I am very interested in the further development of the EMS within the Board of Trustees.
