And action! The campus clip contest is entering its second round. Now it's time again: shoot, submit, win. Four questions and answers about the contest.

What is the Campus Clip Contest about?

The Campus Clip Contest is a video competition for university students. Students can submit their self-made short films and win up to 1,000 euros.

"deine uni wird 40" is the theme of the competition. What does this mean for the entries?

The university will be 40 years old in 2014. Various events, conferences and activities will be taking place throughout the year to mark the occasion. We are interested in what students associate with the university's birthday. It's not about illustrating the history of the university. We are interested in capturing creative ideas and new, unusual perspectives on everyday life at the university. Special features, traditions or peculiarities of the university can also be included in the clip. There are no limits to the creativity of the students.

What are the formal requirements?

The videos must not be longer than 120 seconds. That is certainly a challenge, but that is also the special attraction. There are also no technical requirements. Everything is allowed as long as the topic is creatively realised.

What are your hopes for this year's competition?

The first Campus Clip Contest was a considerable success. The students submitted many different videos from a wide range of genres. This year, we are hoping for as many different entries as possible and are looking forward to seeing the students' ideas.
