KinderUniversität: Secure your tickets now!

Kuni, the mascot of the KinderUniversität Oldenburg, is already in the starting blocks - with three exciting excursions into the world of science for KinderUni students from the city and region.

It all starts on Wednesday, 21 August! Now is the time to secure your tickets for the "autumn semester". Ecologist Prof Dr Gerhard Zotz will kick things off by taking eight to twelve-year-olds on a journey into nature and answering the question "How many living creatures are there on Earth?". The lecture "Enigmatic sounds or: Who is hiding in the piano?" on Wednesday, 4 September, with musicologist Christiane Abt, will be full of sound. The young researchers are guaranteed to have a clear view when they attend the third and final autumn lecture "Blind fish or eagle eye - what happens when we see?", which will be given by sensory physiologist Prof. Dr Jutta Kretzberg on Wednesday, 18 September.
The one-hour lectures in the Audimax of the lecture hall centre (A14) start at 4.30 pm. Admission is from 4.00 pm. Tickets (2 euros each) for the last three KinderUni lectures of the year are available from Nordwest Ticket GmbH on 0421/363636 and 01805/361136 (14 c/min.) as well as from the NWZ offices.
