"The campus is alive" is the motto of this year's Campus Clip Contest. The University of Oldenburg is organising the video competition for students for the third time - initiated by the Press and Communication Office. From today until the end of August, students can submit their two-minute videos.

Technically, anything goes. Whether filmed with a mobile phone, digicam or camera, whether drawn or computer animated. There are no limits to creativity - only the university or the motto should take centre stage. A jury selects the three best clips from all those submitted - and awards them with 1000 euros for first place, 500 euros for the second-placed video and 250 euros for third place. For the first time, users of social networks can also vote for their favourite clip. The clip with the most Facebook "likes" will win 200 euros - regardless of the jury's judgement. All winners will be announced at the big campus clip countdown.

The videos can be submitted to the Press and Communication Office. Conditions of participation and entry form at www.uni-oldenburg.de/ccc. The contributions of the previous Campus Clip winners can be found on the university's YouTube channel:
