Most of our students decide to work as teachers after graduating, whether at a secondary school, a grammar school, a vocational school, a language institute or in further education. Career opportunities in this field are very good.

Numerous other prospects also open up. Some graduates decide to pursue a career in academia, e.g. in linguistics, literature or didactics.

There are also a wide range of opportunities outside the education sector: in the cultural sector (e.g. project management), in publishing (e.g. editing, translation, press relations), in journalism (e.g. newspapers, television, radio) and in public relations.

It is also possible to work in the field of German-Dutch cooperation, for internationally oriented companies or for supra-regional and international organisations.
