There are various ways for international students at German universities to apply for financial support for a scholarship.

You should allow approx. 6-12 months to plan and realise an application for a scholarship.

Scholarship programme Oldenburg Model (STOM)

• for non-European students
• Tuition fees are covered for 1-2 semesters
• Application at the end of the 1st semester
• Application deadline: annually on 15.01.
• Counselling: ISO (German only), / Uwe Bunjes

Graduation Scholarship (STIBET)

• for international students in their final year of study
• financing by the DAAD
• Application for summer semester in December, for winter semester in June
