Stay abroad
Stay abroad
The Institute of Pure and Applied Chemistry regularly offers interested students the opportunity to integrate a stay abroad into their studies. In turn, Oldenburg is also a destination for students from all over the world.
Prof Dr Jürgen Martens is responsible for coordinating this as the representative for international contacts. Funding options range from BAFöG to a scholarship. Interested students can contact Jürgen Martens in person or byemail at Stay abroad for more information.
The International Student Office (ISO) will also be happy to provide further information about the possibility of a stay abroad.
Application forms for participation in the Erasmus exchange programme and an Erasmus acceptance form can be found at:
www.iso.uni-oldenburg.de/8870.html.
Interested students should complete and sign these forms. They should then be submitted to the Chemistry Representative for International Contacts (Jürgen Martens). The forms should then be handed in to Mrs Christa Weers (A05 1-115 / phone 2438) at the ISO. It is advisable to complete these formalities approx. twelve months before the start of your stay abroad.
Experience reports from other students from Oldenburg can be helpful in deciding whether a stay abroad makes sense in individual cases. For this reason, we offer a small selection of experience reports provided by chemistry students.
