Two new working groups of the Centre of Excellence PEChange

The first meetings of the PEChange Centre of Excellence's skills development and change management working groups took place on 16 and 18 March 2026.

The first meetings of the PEChange Centre of Excellence's working groups on skills development and change management took place on 16 and 18 March 2026. Both working groups were formed following the networking meeting of the Centre of Excellence PEChange and bring together personnel and organisational developers as well as Digital Transformation Officers from universities in Lower Saxony.

The skills development working group is dedicated to sharing experiences and developing innovative ways to sustainably promote future skills and digital competences in university administration. The first meeting focussed on identifying employee groups with comparable skills requirements.

The Change Management working group aims to jointly develop solutions for successful change management and to support digital change projects in university administration. At the first meeting, the topic of "Centralised project management as a basis for change projects" was discussed, inspired by a practical report from the University of Oldenburg.

We look forward to further co-operation in the working groups. Interested parties can contact us with any questions or to participate:
