The wind energy technology and management further education programme is entering a new round: Interested parties have until 1 June 2009 to apply for one of the 24 places on the qualification programme. The academic year begins in September. Subjects and managers from the wind energy sector as well as career changers have the opportunity to qualify for the requirements of the industry. The programme is offered by ForWind, the Centre for Wind Energy Research at the Universities of Oldenburg and Hanover in co-operation with the Wind Energy Agency Bremerhaven/Bremen (WAB).

The wind energy technology and management further education programme is the only academic further education programme specifically for the industry. In the eleven-month programme, participants learn with direct practical relevance. The programme teaches content from the fields of science and engineering, technology, IT, Business Administration and law. Industry experts can expand their knowledge and skills here, while career changers qualify for entry into the wind energy sector. The programme is financially supported by EWE AG, GE Wind Energy GmbH, Bremer Landesbank and wpd think energy GmbH & Co KG.
