64 graduates of Bachelor's, Master's and Diplom degree programmes as well as doctoral candidates from School V - School of Mathematics and Science were given a farewell ceremony at the University of Oldenburg on 2 July. The certificates were presented by Prof Dr Georg Klump, Dean of School V.
The keynote speech was given by Prof Dr Christoph Herrmann, Director of the Institute of Psychology. In the period from January to mid-June 2010, a total of over 200 students graduated in maths or science subjects. Five students were honoured for their outstanding theses (from left): Thea Maglakelidze (Psychology), Stephan Töpken (Physics), Friederice Pirschel (Biology), Karsten Kruse (Mathematics) and Helena Osterholz (Marine Environmental Sciences).
