More than 180 graduates of School V - School of Mathematics and Science were given a farewell ceremony at the University of Oldenburg on Friday 29 January 2010. Prof. Dr Georg Klump, Dean of School V, presented the graduates of the Bachelor, Master and Diplom degree programmes as well as the 20 doctoral candidates with their certificates. In total, over 450 students graduated from School V in 2009. Prof. Dr. Carsten Agert, Head of the EWE research centre "Next Energy", gave the keynote speech at the ceremony on the topic of "Energy technology as a future-oriented field of work".
