Prof Dr Jürgen Parisi, physicist and Head of the Department of Energy and Semiconductor Research (EHF), has been appointed by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science for a further four years as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Institute for Solar Energy Research Hameln/Emmerthal (ISFH). Parisi has been a member of the board since 1995. In addition to other supervisory board activities in research institutions, foundations and companies, Parisi is also on the editorial board of the "Materials Science" series published by Springer-Verlag, on the physics review board of the German Research Foundation and Vice Dean of School V - School of Mathematics and Science.
