Zukunftsenergien Nordwest provides information about future careers in renewable energies
87 exhibitors will be presenting the jobs of the future in renewable energies on an area of 2,500 square metres on 11 and 12 March 2011 at zukunftsenergien nordwest at the Bremen Exhibition Centre. Following the successful launch in Oldenburg with 74 exhibitors and over 4,000 visitors, the trade fair is now in its second year in Bremen. With over 200 job and qualification opportunities, the fair will show career starters, career changers and those interested in the industry the prospects in renewable energies. Excursions on the topics of biogas, energy efficiency, wind energy and energy-efficient building refurbishment during the two days of the fair offer hands-on experience of academic appointments. Two forums in the exhibition area will also host industry workshops, presentations and training sessions on all aspects of job applications. Admission to the trade fair and the programme of excursions and lectures are free of charge for visitors. All exhibitor profiles of the companies, training and further education providers, universities and institutions can be found online in advance on the trade fair homepage. Companies and jobseekers will have the opportunity to meet in person at the trade fair stand between 10.00 and 18.00 on Friday and between 10.00 and 16.00 on Saturday. The fact that renewables offer a wide range of academic appointments is shown by the expected growth in the industry from the current 340,000 employees nationwide to more than 500,000 by 2020. At the same time, the industry supports climate protection and creates future career prospects with its enormous potential. Over the next ten years, the industry will invest 235 billion euros in Germany alone, thus strengthening the economy as a driver of growth. Finding the right candidates remains a challenge for companies.
