Future Prize of the Federal President to Oldenburg hearing researcher

The statement by Federal President Joachim Gauck reads: "The scientists have succeeded in creating the technological basis for innovative hearing systems in which two hearing aids are coupled in both ears and matched to each other according to the individual hearing impairment. This technology can significantly improve the quality of life of hearing impaired people and make it much easier for them to participate in social life."
