Job fair for renewable energies closes with enthusiastic visitors and exhibitors

Bremen, 02 March 2013: Over 4,500 visitors to the trade fair used zukunftsenergien nordwest on 1 and 2 March 2013 as an industry platform for renewable energies and obtained information from the 79 exhibitors about academic appointments with personal future prospects. A wide range of job opportunities were on offer with over 400 vacancies for applicants to choose from on the job walls and exhibition stands during the two days of the fair. Excursions, workshops and presentations introduced the renewable energy sector and offered concrete knowledge about bioenergy, energy efficiency, solar and wind energy. Visitors appreciated the extensive range of offers at the fair, including the application portfolio check and professional application photos. The vast majority of the 79 exhibitors were exhibiting at zukunftsenergien nordwest for the fourth time. This shows the importance of the trade fair for the industry and for the personnel development of these companies. The exhibitors who took part in the trade fair for the first time were also very satisfied. They have already made firm plans for the next zukunftsenergien nordwest on 21 and 22 March 2014. We have noticed that the profile of the north-west region has increased significantly, so that more and more interested parties from further afield are coming to us in the north. The quality and diversity of the applicants at the fair is also very positive. That's perfect for us! ", summarises Florian Rathkamp, Personnel Officer at ENERCON GmbH. This is where they engage in intensive dialogue with universities, research institutes and industry networks. We are also one of the largest sponsors of initiatives and charitable organisations in the north-west," said Thomas Wreesmann, Head of Human Resources Management at Bremer Landesbank. zukunftsenergien nordwest offered visitors and exhibitors a prominent lecture on the evening of the first day of the fair: Dr Franz Alt, publicist, author and one of the pioneers of renewable energies, gave an inspiring talk on the energy transition.
Next year, zukunftsenergien nordwest will take place again in Oldenburg on 21 & 22 March 2014.
