Physicist Ralf Vogelgesang is "Outstanding reviewer"

Oldenburg. Dr Ralf Vogelgesang, Institute of Physics at the University of Oldenburg, has been awarded the title of "Outstanding Referee" by the American Physical Society (APS). The American Physical Society publishes leading international journals such as "Physical Review Letters" and "Physical Review". In order to guarantee a high scientific standard, it currently employs around 69,000 reviewers. Since 2008, some of them have been honoured annually for the quality, number and timeliness of their reviews. This year, Dr Vogelgesang is one of around 140 outstanding reviewers
