Short biography

Stephanie Lenger completed vocational training as a bank clerk and studied business administration at the University of Osnabrück. She completed her doctorate at the Ruhr University Bochum and the Technical University Dortmund and successfully completed her dissertation entitled “Essays on SMEs - Effects of financing restrictions, IFRS and CSR-RLUG” in 2016.

From 2009 to 2015, she worked as a research assistant at the Ruhr University Bochum at the Chair of International Accounting and Auditing. From 2015 to 2016, she worked as a research assistant at the Technical University of Munich at the Chair of Financial Accounting. From 2016 to 2022, she was a research assistant at the Chair of International Accounting and Auditing.

Since October 2022, Stephanie Lenger has been working at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg at the Research and Transfer Department as a consultant for transfer to the border region. In cooperation with the University of Groningen, she acts as an interface between science, business and society at the project location in Papenburg.

Since November 2024, she has mainly been working as a research assistant at the Department of Health Services Research of Faculty VI - School of Medicine and Health Sciences in the Division for Prevention and Rehabilitation Research in the project “INGVER - Intersectoral health care for vulnerable groups in the border region”.
