"Young generation - different? School - different!"

What are the needs of the young generation? What demands are placed on schools and teaching in this context?
Through your daily work and proximity to the younger generation, you in the (extended) school management experience the specific requirements of the new generation on a daily basis, both among pupils and in the teaching staff. This conference focuses on the new generation of teachers and students with their changed goals, attitudes and needs and is dedicated to the following main topics:
- UNDERSTANDING: What makes the new generation tick? To what extent are goals, attitudes and needs changing?
- PARADIGM SHIFT: How can schools and teaching respond to change?
- TARGET FOCUS: What skills do young people need for the future and how can schools and teaching develop to meet these needs?
- MOTIVATION: How can we get young people excited about teaching? How do we gain and maintain motivation among staff to actively help shape schools and teaching?
Two keynote speeches will provide an introduction to the relevant background and take an inspiring look at the motives and needs of the new generation with regard to learning and working at school. Afterwards, the conference programme offers individual opportunities for in-depth discussions in parallel sessions on the following key topics:
- School and lesson development from the perspective of pupils
- Motivation and active co-design within the teaching staff
- How to do Collaboration? Understanding collaboration better and organising it in a networked way
- Successfully counter school absenteeism
- Developing and shaping school as a teaching, learning and living space
- Conceptually promoting autonomy in learning and teaching
- The impact of digitalisation on pupils' lives and learning
