Presentation of COFONI projects in the Lower Saxony state parliament
On 8 November 2013, two University Medicine Oldenburg research projects investigating the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic presented themselves at the Lower Saxony state parliament in Hanover. More than 20 projects from the Covid-19 research network COFONI presented themselves in a poster session. Our department was represented by a research project on the course of post-COVID symptoms(COVISION), presented by Ann-Kathrin Knak. In addition, there was a wide variety of other topics and research methods ranging from dog training to sniff out post-COVID, modifications of antibodies to combat new virus variants, to the investigation of the effects of the pandemic on working life. The poster session took place in the Portikus Hall, giving delegates the opportunity to look at the posters in between and ask the researchers about their projects. The event made it clear that there is still a lot of interest and need for clarification regarding the coronavirus pandemic and its consequences
