Data Transparency
Data Transparency ensures that all privacy related data processing including the legal, technical, organizational and procedural settings can be understood and reproduced at any time. Thus, an information must be available before, during and after processing. The GDPR, as a legal framework, allows a user to request any organizations to provide him with all the data they have about the respective individual. In our research on Data Transparency, we focus on Data Lineage that includes the data’s origins and where it moves over the time. It also describes, what happens to the data when it goes through different processes and applications.
