For the participating girls and boys, this day is categorised as a school event in the sense of a company study visit; for insurance reasons, parents must submit an informal proposal to the school management in advance. After the event, the confirmation of participation must be handed in at school.

Participating children are generally covered by their family's liability insurance during the event.

If the Future Day is organised as a school event, the usual statutory accident insurance cover applies.
