Information for interested pupils and their parents

Dear pupils and parents,

The Future Day for Girls and Boys 2026 (also known as Girls' Day or Boys' Day) is fast approaching and will take place nationwide on 23 April 2026. Carl von Ossietzky University is once again taking part in the day of action with offers that take place either digitally or in person. The offers are wide-ranging and will give you an insight into the work processes of the individual institutions. As the Equal Opportunities Office, we will once again be coordinating the event this year and providing all the necessary information.

The offers for the hybrid future day for girls and boys can be viewed from 23 February 2026 under"Offers for girls" and"Offers for boys". Registration for the desired offers begins on 2 March 2026 at 3 pm. The registration forms will be available on our homepage on the above-mentioned pages from this date and must be completed online. All gender identities are invited to take part.

The registration process will take place in two stages. The registration deadline for the first round runs until 04 March 2026 by 12 noon. From 18 March 2026 at 3 pm , children can register for the places still available.

Please note: Places will be allocated in the order in which registrations are received. The children will be allocated to the available places according to one of the three possible preferences. There is no guarantee of a place. We will then inform all children and parents by email as to whether and to what extent the registration(s) for one of the three preferred options could be considered.
