Developing a strong professional network is essential for building a successful career, particularly in a new environment. Networking becomes even more important in a challenging job market, where personal connections and referrals can often make the decisive difference in a job search. This workshop offers international students practical strategies for establishing professional connections, maintaining relationships, and navigating networking opportunities both online, e.g. on LinkedIn, and in person. Participants will learn how to approach new contacts, expand their existing networks strategically, and apply effective follow-up techniques. The session also provides an opportunity to practice networking skills in a supportive setting and helps participants build a foundation for long-term professional success in Germany.
