DynaDeep II - PhD Symposium - Fundamentals of the beach as a biogeochemical reactor -

Beschreibung
This symposium will provide basic knowledge on the beach biogeochemical reactor from different disciplinary perspectives including organic and inorganic geochemistry, hydrogeology, and microbiology. It will be organized in two parts, one where DynaDeep PIs will present previous work from Spiekeroog projects in overview lectures, and one where DynaDeep II PhDs will present findings from their predecessors in DynaDeep phase I. The overall aim is to gain a fundamental understanding of the processes inside the STE (on
Spiekeroog) and how they relate to one another across the various research areas, and to connect and network with PhDs from different disciplinary backgrounds.
