Anniversary year brought people from the university, city and region together
In its anniversary year, the university organised more than 130 events and numerous online activities for the interested public. University President Prof Dr Ralph Bruder and Lord Mayor Jürgen Krogmann draw a positive balance.
On 11 December, Katrin Kleinschmidt-Schinke will speak about linguistic adaptivity in schools, concluding the inaugural public series of lectures at School III - School of Linguistics and Cultural Studies to mark the university's anniversary.

The exhibition "A chair tells university history - Klaus Beilstein's 'university heads' in the University Archives Oldenburg" shows portraits by Klaus Beilstein, Oldenburg artist and long-time lecturer at the university.
