8th run of general medicine

We are already looking forward to the 8th Run for General Practice on 25 October 2026.

As part of the Oldenburg Marathon, it is once again possible to take part in half marathon relay teams (4×5.5 km), the 10 km run, half marathon or marathon for general practice.

Registration is already open!

When registering via the Oldenburg Marathon website, please enter LAUF DER ALLGEMEINMEDIZIN as the club name for individual registrations and LAUF DER ALLGEMEINMEDIZIN - team name for relay registrations.

7th run of general medicine

Finally, here is our review of the 7th General Practice Run as part of the Oldenburg Marathon 2025, it was fantastic once again!

With a total of 154 participants - including mainly medical students, teaching physicians and also some alumni - our team was represented in all distances: from the half marathon relay (4×5.5 km) to the 10 km run to the half marathon and marathon.

Our fastest HM relay teams took 1st, 3rd and 6th place in the mixed classification (out of 77 mixed relay teams), 4th place in the women's classification (out of 29) and 5th place in the men's classification (out of 68).

A huge thank you to the organising team, all the helpers of the Oldenburg Marathon and to everyone who ran with us or cheered us on!
